I feel privileged to have spent a month in this cottage that is filled with light and warmth. From the moment you turn off the main road and find yourself winding along the leafy chemin towards La Pichouline, you can feel the magical energy of this piece of sanctuary in the countryside. Perfectly situated with a host of beautiful walking trails, lakes and pools, and quaint villages right at your fingertips, this cottage is filled with everything you could hope for when seeking to escape from the chaos of modern life: comfy couches, picturesque terrace, spacious bedrooms and stunning views. Truly magical.

We spent almost a month at La Pichouline during the summertime 2020. After being locked at home for months due to Covid19, staying at La Pichouline has been so wonderful and relaxing, that it seemed to us like a miracle.

We were so delighted of the stay, the cottage was clean and tidy, situated in a very quiet place, surrounded by pure nature. We enjoyed the outside terrace where we had our main meals, the interesting walks around the cottage which can bring you – for example – to villages like Villecroze and Salernes and to the magic place of St. Barthelemy.

We definitely recommend coming here; you will not regret the choice. You will experience what we believe a good life is: out of the crowd, a full immersion in the nature, breathing fresh air, drinking pure water from St. Barthelemy source and eating good food. And last but not least, you could meditate looking at a wonderful sky full of stars before going to bed. What else?
